This is a concept I created during the events of the 2020 Olympics. I wanted to create a universal design that all country representatives could wear as an identity badge on a lanyard. While keeping the design universal, I still wanted to personalize each one. I did so by incorporating the colors of each country's flag. For example purposes, I designed a badge for five countries.
The Japanese lettering above the Olympic rings is the number "2020" translated into the Japanese language. I also thought it would be cool to put the word "Tokyo" inside the Olympic rings. It worked out perfectly, five letters for five rings.
