Part saint, part sinner? Nah, not for those who are sanctified in Christ Jesus.

I designed this limited-edition tee in 2023 to encourage Christians with the truth found in I Corinthians 1:2-3 that they are, in fact, saints. I started with a pencil illustration, converted it to digital, and then collaborated with Rob Green of Cracked Ego for the screen printing process. The final product pairs a water-based ink design with a recycled unisex tee.

A fun challenge with this project was to find a tee that was comfortable for both men and women as well as a color that complimented the design. Originally, I had thought of incorporating yellows into the design and tee color to resemble heavenly glory and light. But once I had found the shirt material that was a good fit, I then had to work within the confines of the colors that the manufacturer offered. That's when I landed on the blue. To me, it resembles the blue sky, which can often be associated with heavenly themes. And screen printing the design in a nice, pure white ink visually represents who we are in Jesus and the light we have because of it.

Thank you to all the saints reppin' the tee.
